FLOOR RULES ADDENDUM:

Activation Cap: The number of activations in a squad may not exceed 16 characters before the first initiative roll.

Bribery and Reinforcements are mutually exclusive (i.e., no character with Bribery can be in a squad alongside another character with Reinforcements), but a squad can contain multiple characters with either of these Special Abilities.

Decreasing Activations: To decrease the number of activations in a phase, a character must have line-of-sight to an enemy and no ally with Reinforcements in their squad.

Gambit: First sentence of 622.2) is changed to: 2) Occupy the map center: TEN points are scored each round that a player ends a round with a model without Diplomat that costs TEN points or more within four squares of the center of the map; ignore low objects and walls when determining this area.

Limited (sideboard) Reinforcement/added characters.
Characters added to a squad must be listed with the squad during registration. Specific characters added (Porgs, Rackghouls) do not require a list. Only CEs and abilities involving a choice of characters. For each instance, (CE, Reinforcements, Reserves, Bribery, etc.) lists of characters may not exceed the build total. e.g. 200pt constructed: 200pt max Reinforcements, 200pt max Reserves, ect. Lists of optional characters will remain concealed with a judge or T.O. until the end of the tournament. Players are not required to reveal lists of optional characters to their opponents. Opponents may request judge verification so long as it does not interrupt gameplay.

Mouse Droids: gain the following Special Ability for competitive play: Diminutive: [This character does not provide cover or block movement]

Multi-cannon shot or “double-tap” A character can only be affected once per round by any abilities and commander effects from allies that grant an immediate attack or activation.
e.g. Boba Fett can get a cannon shot once from 1 Bothan Noble in a round. A second Bothan Noble would need to cannon a different character that round.

Numbered Save Modifiers: A character only benefits from one numbered save modifier via itself or an ally at a time. Choose the source prior to the save roll. A character may only be effected by one numbered save modifier via an enemy charcters at a time. The enemy chooses the source prior to the save roll.  e.g. Mettle still stacks with itself but you cannot Mettle with an Adorable Porg.

Prideful and some Commander Effects both require certain squad building restrictions to be met to activate the benefits. There are also mechanisms by which characters can be added/gained that break those conditions.
• If squadbuilding restriction are met, you get the bonuses.
• You lose bonuses if you intentionally do something to add a character to your squad that breaks the restriction. (character “replacement” effects can undo this ie Pellaeon)
• This includes TTTDS, making Rakghouls, bringing in Reserves, etc.
• It would not include losing your Nimbus (so is defeated and no longer has Independent Outfit).
• You temporarily lose your bonuses if an enemy joins your squad (but not caused by you), but you get the bonuses back if they’re defeated.

Rapport cannot decrease a piece’s Cost below 3.

Reinforcements’ Cost: If a character would bring in characters after squad reveal using a special ability whose name contains Reinforcements, reduce the cost of that character by the sum of the cost of the characters added. Perform this adjustment of cost before the 1st initiative. Characters added to your squad in this way count towards the cost of your squad. If you are scoring points for defeats, or for a tiebreaker, defeating these extra characters scores points. These characters may score victory points for occupying specified areas in scenarios that include such victory conditions. *A character’s cost is not reduced by the the special ability Bribery. (Example: In a 200pt game Lobot (UH #22, cost 27) uses his Fringe Reinforcements 20 ability to bring in Ayy Vida (BH #16, cost 19). In this game, Lobot will be worth 8 when defeated (27-19=8), Ayy Vida will be worth 19 when defeated (her natural cost). Ayy Vida can score gambit, but Lobot cannot (since his adjusted cost is below 10).

Reinforcements (Do Not “Stack”) During setup, after seeing your opponent’s squad, you may only add characters via one chosen character’s Reinforcements Special Ability. (e.g. In Jabba squads, it means no 40 points of reinforcements (only 20) or getting to lower the Cost of both Lobot and Jabba.)

Reserves (Do Not Stack) Players may only benefit from one instance of Reserves per Initiative. When a player rolls multiple Reserve numbers during an initiative, they may only add characters via one chosen character’s Reserves Special Ability that round.

Rigid Characters with Rigid lose Rigid in SWMGPA-sanctioned tournament play.

(Soresu & Soresu Style Mastery) (Evade & Rolling Evade) These abilities shall be treated as same-named abilities for the purposes of stacking. *Do not get both.

Glossary Changes:

Add Diminutive: [This character does not provide cover or block movement]

Aggressive negotiations: this ability is lost whenever the character causes damage to an enemy (“…until it makes an attack, –deals damage to or– is targeted by an enemy character”).

Diplomat: If an enemy with a hitpoint rating and without Diplomat is in line of sight of the acting character, that character cannot target or attack an enemy with Diplomat, even one that is adjacent. If an enemy without Diplomat is in line of sight and the only adjacent enemy has Diplomat, no legal target is available. Characters with Diplomat do not block the movement of enemy characters.

Force Ghosts: added to the non-living definition by adding “including figures without a Hit Point number/rating” to the non-living description.

Force Choke # & Force Pull #: – Place an enemy in the nearest available legal square.

Heroic Stand: If this character is defeated by an enemy character while this character is within 6 squares of an enemy character (this can be the same or a different enemy), 1 allied character of the stated type may make an immediate attack.

Homicidal Surgery 30: [Replaces attacks: touch; deal 30 damage to a living character; save 11. An allied character can instead remove 30 damage from itself with a save of 6.]

Lightsaber – Counts as a Melee Attack

Rigged Detonators: Characters, enemies and allies alike, who occupy a square in or adjacent to low objects automatically fail saves against this character’s Grenades, Mines, and Missiles special abilities.

Sith Battle Manipulation: cannot move characters into pits or other illegal spaces.

Suppressive Fire: Ignore second sentence, “enemies hit by this character’s attacks cannot benefit from or grant commander effects for the rest of the round.”

Ysalamiri: Characters within 6 squares of this character cannot spend Force points. Characters within 6 squares of this character gain Force Immunity. **SWMGPA balance update: This character and characters within 6 squares cannot spend Force points or be affected by Force powers

Card Errata

Bib Fortuna, Majordomo · Add to Commander Effect: If a Hutt Cartel ally doesn’t move on its turn, a Medium or smaller Hutt Cartel ally adjacent to it can move up to its speed. Each character may only be moved once per phase via this effect.

Director Orson Krennic
· Rival now includes First Order
· Rapport 3 instead of Rapport 5.
· Second Commander Effect no longer gives Cunning Attack.
· Third Commander Effect will now be ignored by Attacks with Lightsabers.

Eighth Cortex Shaper
· Exterminate added to list of SA given by Specialization.
· Specialization (Unique Yuuzhan Vong allies gain Evade, Exterminate, Retaliatory Attack and Willing to Serve. Ignore this ability if an ally counts as having the same name as another ally.)

The Father · Add to A Family in Balance: Followers as a requirement
· A Family in Balance (Your squad must only contain exactly two other characters of any faction; both must be Medium Followers with Force ratings. An ally who spends Force points only once on a turn may spend this character’s Force points instead of its own. This character is defeated if it activates with no ally with a Damage value greater than 0.)

Commando Droid Officer
· Change to Coordinated Movement: (At the end of this character’s turn, 1 follower named Commando Droid or Elite Commando Droid may immediately move up to 2 squares).
· Replace the printed second portion of the Commander Effect with the following: At the end of this character’s turn, 1 follower named Commando Droid or Elite Commando Droid within 6 squares may make an immediate attack at +10 Damage.

Domain Lah Warriors · increase cost to 12

Imperial Governor 
· Change to Instill Fear: (Enemy and allied followers within 6 squares get -2 to save rolls).
· Replace the printed Commander Effect with the following: Each follower within 6 squares may reroll each successful save once.

Warrior Caste Subcommander · Increase cost to 23. Change to Blast Bug [Replaces Attacks, range 6: deal 10 damage to target enemy; this damage cannot be prevented]

Yun-Ne’Shel Priest · CE changed to unique and it IS disruptable. After setup, choose a Unique Yuuzhan Vong follower. That character gains Avoid Defeat.

Yuuzhan Vong Kunra, Shamed Lieutenant – add Force Immunity.

Zygerrian Slaver · Remove the Slave Driver Special Ability.
